Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all products and services provided by Nordman Algorithms OÜ (Reg. No. 14435535), registered in Tallinn, Estonia.

Last Updated: April 22, 2026

1
Standard Products — Lifetime License (Indicators)

All sales of digital software products are final. Once a lifetime license has been purchased and access to the software has been granted, no refunds will be issued.

This policy applies because:

  • The software is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase
  • Full access to the product is provided at the time of purchase
  • The nature of digital goods makes it impossible to return access once granted

We encourage all customers to take advantage of the free trial period available for selected products before making a purchase decision.

2
Standard Products — Subscription

Subscription payments are non-refundable for any period already used or currently active.

This policy applies because:

  • A free 5-day trial is available prior to subscription activation, allowing full evaluation of the product
  • The customer retains the ability to cancel the subscription at any time to prevent future billing
  • Access to the software is provided immediately upon subscription activation

Cancelling a subscription stops future billing but does not entitle the customer to a refund for the current or any previously billed period.

To cancel a subscription, the customer may do so directly via their PayPal account or by contacting us at contact@nordman-algorithms.com.
3
Custom Development — Refund Policy

Refunds for custom development services are considered on a case-by-case basis.

When a refund may be issued

A refund may be issued in the following situations:

  • If the project cannot be completed due to technical limitations that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time of specification agreement
  • If it is determined that the requested functionality cannot be implemented within the technical constraints of the target platform
  • If the delivered software materially fails to meet the agreed written specification
What constitutes a material failure to meet the agreed specification

A material failure means that the delivered software does not perform the core functionality described in the written specification agreed before development began. This includes situations where:

  • A key feature explicitly defined in the specification is absent from the delivered software
  • The software produces results that are consistently and verifiably incorrect relative to the defined logic
  • The software fails to operate on the agreed target platform under standard conditions

A material failure does not include:

  • Minor visual or cosmetic differences not specified in writing
  • Behaviour that differs from the customer’s expectations but is not contradicted by the written specification
  • Issues caused by third-party platform updates, broker configurations, or user environment factors
  • Requests for additional features or changes introduced after development has started
What is offered in case of a refund

In situations where a refund may be applicable, the customer will be offered:

  • A revised technical solution, or
  • A partial or full refund, depending on the stage of project completion

The refund amount is calculated proportionally to the uncompleted or non-conforming portion of the agreed scope.

If the customer chooses not to proceed with an adjusted solution, a refund may be issued for the uncompleted portion of the work.

No refunds are provided for
  • The advance payment (50%) once development has started
  • Completed and delivered work that meets the agreed specification
  • Delays caused by incomplete or unclear specifications provided by the customer
  • Changes in requirements after development has started
Refund request deadline

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery or notification of technical impossibility.

All refund decisions are made based on the actual development stage and work performed at the time of the request.
